In collaboration with “Doctors of the world (MDM)” and Bhar Lazreg municipality, we conducted a multi-sectoral activity that included the following:

-A capacity-building training for community-based volunteers about the Law 58-2017, gender-based violence and prevention from sexual abuse as a preparatory phase for the outreach activity that took place at the municipality of Bhar Lazreg La Marsa.

-A focus group discussion through a movie screening that treats gender-based violence, human rights, and consent followed by a debate.

-An outreach activity led by migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees in order to raise the host community’s awareness against gender-based violence, its types, and the notification mechanisms

-A raising awareness space at the municipality: information dissemination through one-to-one meetings, counseling, group discussions, and referrals.
