Human might face crucial circumstances by which he can make strict decisions in order to seek protection and self-proving. You might be that one someday. Whatever are religious, ethnic, cultural, political, social and gendered differences, he is entitled to enjoy all rights and freedom without race, color, gender, language or religious segregation. Be Human. Be You.

“A partnership agreement with the Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family”

The Tunisian Refugee Council organized, on Thursday, March 24th, 2021, in collaboration with the National Anti-Human Trafficking Authority, and the Tunisian Organization for Education and Family, a forum on the theme of “The Fight against child trafficking and their protection in cybernetic space”.

At the end of this forum, the Tunisian Refugee Council signed a partnership agreement with the Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family.

“Reproductive and sexual health during the COVID-19”

Awareness activity on “Reproductive and sexual health during the COVID-19” at the youth center in Sousse with the Tunisian Association for Reproductive Health.

It consisted of:

-An awareness session on women’s health, the vaccine calendar, and reproductive and sexual health

-A screening session for STIs, breast cancer, and consultation of vital parameters.

 

 

“Ciné-Club activity”

A workshop for short stories creation about fidelity, co-existence, and integrity was organized in partnership with “Association Cinema For All” in Gabes. The stories were prepared by Syrian children and they will be assembled, filmed and voice recorded by them through different sessions.

 

“Jewelry workshop”

The jewelry workshop was organized for the second time at the women’s section at Ibn Khaldoun’s shelter in Medenine. It was an opportunity for the girls to reconnect and exchange their artistic talents.


“Honoring the regional executives of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Sfax”

The Tunisian Refugee Council honored the regional executives of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Sfax, led by the Regional Director of Social Affairs, the Director of the Regional Unit of Adult Education, and the Regional Director of the Social Promotion Unit.

The participants highlighted the importance of this collaboration between the Council and the structures of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the region for the benefit of refugees and asylum seekers.

 

“A discussion group at the Bhar Lazreg shelter La Marsa”

A Discussion group was organized for the benefit of refugees and asylum seekers of different age groups and nationalities at the Bhar Lazreg shelter La Marsa.

It aims:

-To promote mutual knowledge between refugees

-To encourage expression and verbalization

-To reinforce their self-confidence

-To evaluate their integration with the host community

-To stimulate the adoption of decent attitudes

“Medical convoy in Medenine”

In partnership with Kuwait Direct Aid Association, we arranged a medical convoy targeting both refugees and asylum seekers and members of the host community with the presence of volunteer doctors from different specialties at Ibn Khaldun high school in Medenine.

“Celebration of childhood month in Medenine”

In partnership with the regional delegation of women, childhood, the family, the elderly, and the regional delegation of culture, CTR celebrated the closure of childhood month with refugees, Asylum seekers, and members of the host community. It was a recreational activity that included dance and magic and competition games.

 

“Craft workshops”

Celebrating Solidarity international day, we organized three craft workshops with a group of asylum seekers and refugees of different nationalities and age groups in partnership with the Lam Shamel association at Ibn Khaldun shelter in Medenine. These workshops consisted of knitting, jewelry making, and crochet.
